Mr. Michael Brown


He is a registered nurse & diabetic educator.

Since 1994 he has been the Clinical Manager & National Director for Education for the Centre for Diabetes & Endocrinology in Houghton.

He has been involved in developing, managing & teaching on diabetes courses during this time & in the clinical administration of a large national network of Centres of Diabetes Excellence.

His work passions are patient-centred diabetes care, reflective practice & change management.

He is also the Editor of the patient journal “Diabetes Lifestyle” & Sub-editor of the healthcare professional journal “South African Journal of Diabetes”.

His editing & creative skills & interests have led him into an exciting new position within the CDE, of Manager of CDE Media & Publishing
